Why personal training?
I believe everyone benefits from having a personal trainer. Whether it's to lose weight safely, have a training routine written for your individual goals or just have your technique corrected. However, the single most important reason is motivation.
For many people, the experience of a PT is life changing. They see results they never thought were possible. From my own experience of eleven years in the fitness industry, I never would have come as far if it wasn't for my trainers who have been pushing me, paying attention and never given up on me. I can do the same for you: to help you give that last, final push which makes the difference; to ensure that you don't damage your body; and to see when it's time to progress and understand how to do it.
With my history of training, competing and coaching in various combat sports, alongside my burning passion for strength and conditioning training, I have a wide knowledge of fat loss as well as increasing strength and muscle mass. I'd love to share my skills and energy with you. I can guarantee you will get variation and excitement but most of all, results.

Sustainable lifestyle
|
A healthy lifestyle isn't only about nutrition - but almost. You can get a decent-looking body over a couple of weeks but good health doesn't come that quickly, it's a long term commitment. If you're willing to invest money and time to improve your overall life quality, it's an essential step to also look at your culinary habits. You'll reach your goals, whether it's short term for a special occasion or general fitness, both quicker and safer. My goal is not only to make sure you get a sustainable diet but that you understand it as well. This way it's easier for you to keep going independently in the long run.

Functional strength
|
Strength is functional training. It makes everyday life so much easier, from sitting by the computer with good posture, to using your core and legs instead of damaging your lower back in heavier tasks.
Core, core, core - a strong athletic body is almost all about the core but it hardly ever gets the right attention. To some degree it's true that you can't isolate and burn fat in one specific area but you can certainly tone up your tummy a lot quicker if you treat it as its own muscle group. In most cases this means working the stabilizing muscles and lower abs. That'll also prevent lower back pain. Building strength has a lot of benefits, especially for women. As we get older, we have a much higher risk compared to men in terms of suffering from decreasing bone density. Without strength training, toning is nearly impossible and compared to body fat, muscle mass burns calories much more efficiently. And there's no need to worry about bulking up. Women don't have the same hormonal preconditions to gain growth the way men do. I also pay a lot of attention to postural training as it's one of the main factors in improving people's life quality. Many people walk around in constant pain, or at least will do so in ten years time if they don't change their lifestyle. In every aspect of life, a strong posture will improve your performances. A strength programme adapted specifically for you not only gives you an attractive appearance, more importantly, it makes you feel great, even when you've left the gym. |
